Immune defenses down, injuries, illness: poor Spirou can't take it anymore!

1. A disease is destroying his immune system, making him vulnerable...

Spirou is a four-year-old cat who is FIV positive. Feline AIDS is a very contagious disease, which he unfortunately caught in the street.

It is gradually destroying his immune system... His body is therefore less well protected against bacteria and other microbes.

2. He is sick!

With his weakened immunity, Spirou has fallen ill with coryza. His eyes are purulent and completely stuck. We have to give him antibiotics, because he won't heal by himself!

3. His nose is covered in wounds

In the street, Spirou fought with other cats. He kept a lot of wounds on his nose from these fights. It is very difficult for him to heal...

4. Cans would provide him with enough food to regain his strength

Nutrient-rich canned food would allow Spirou to regain some energy. He is so weak that he could finally see his situation improve, despite the illness!

5. It's getting worse and worse!

The situation is getting worse and worse. A dozen cats are currently waiting for us to take care of them, and we have many feeding sites to manage... The needs are increasing everywhere, but our means remain the same!
