Biquette's owners left her behind when they moved away. As a result, she spent a whole year alone in an apartment...
We don't know how she managed to make it. Maybe some neighbours came by to feed her. Still, this period was very difficult for her!
Biquette has mouth problems: she drools excessively because her mouth is inflamed. It is probably a calicivirus, but we are not sure yet.
Until we manage to cure Biquette, easy-to-ingest canned food would be ideal. It would allow her to start eating again without having to chew too much. This would help her avoid pain and regain strength.
It is very difficult to help all the cats in need. There are so many of them! Our financial means do not allow us to help them as much as we would like. The situation is very hard to accept...
