"When my dogs are hungry, they get anxious, they start barking at each other, fighting... They also lose a lot of weight and get sick more easily, which means extra expenses and especially a lot of stress for me!
I already notice changes since a few days, some dogs vomit and others become very aggressive, even with me... I used to combine their cheap food with a better quality one, but unfortunately today I only have a few pieces of bread left. I am very worried about their health, they will not survive the winter without kibble!"
2. Rexona is already suffering from hunger, he will not survive this winter without kibble!
"Rexona has started to get sick by getting older. I have to buy his medicine for his joints that really hurt... Taking him to the vet regularly is already costing me a lot of money, I can't buy him any more kibble! Unfortunately, without an adapted and quality food, he will become even more sick and I could not do anything to save him...

3. Camelia can't even afford to pay for heating and running water in her house: she can't buy kibble!
"The conditions we live in with my dogs are absolutely terrible. I can barely meet my basic needs, including hygiene and food. In the winter, I welcome the dogs into my bed, take refuge in the straw or when I can, I light a fire in my wood stove. But this is not a downhill way of life.
Despite my health problems, I fight as hard as I can, but I am exhausted financially, mentally, physically. I feel like I'm on my knees and I don't have the strength to get up. I don't even know what my dreams are anymore. I have many fears and very little hope.
I am afraid that something will happen to me because I don't know what will happen to my dogs. I'm trying to take it one day at a time, and today all I want to do is give them something to eat this winter!"
4. Camelia does not ask for money, just kibble to prevent the dogs from starving.
"I live on my mother's meager pension: I can't repair my house, I can't afford running water and heating... I just eat the leftover bread when my dogs have finished eating.
Winter is hard in Romania, dogs need the necessary nutrients to maintain their body temperature, especially when there is no other way to warm up... A diet based on bread could kill them.
I have so few means that I have a very bad internet connection and my phone plan is regularly cut: difficult in these conditions to stay in contact with the outside world, even more to ask for help... My isolation is painful, but thanks to this harvest, I have hope again: if you send me kibble, I will be able to feed myself properly again, and my dogs will survive this winter!"

My dedication is innate, I grew up around animals, my family has always had a positive attitude towards them. My sacrifices are first of all sanitary, then financial, the conditions in which I live are not human. I have no resources, my whole life is sacrificed for the dogs, so I can't do more!
My loneliness is heavy, especially when I have to travel to buy food for the dogs: my village is very isolated, each trip costs me money and energy... The dogs I rescue are all sterilized and vaccinated, all my budget is devoted to saving them from the street. "
