Affected by FIV, Budy has big gastric problems!

1. A disease made him blind...

Budy is a 2 years old cat, that we found rolled in a ball in a gutter in the countryside. Social and not wild, he looked like he had been badly neglected.

His eyes were in a catastrophic state because of coryza. Today, the disease is on the mend, but Budy keeps on coughing and has a runny nose. He has also lost his sight for good.

2. His kidneys no longer function normally

Unfortunately, Budy is suffering from kidney failure: his kidneys are no longer able to rid his body of the toxins that invade it. Budy has lost a lot of weight.

3. He has no more teeth !

When we found him 4 months ago, Budy's teeth were all black and moldy. The vet removed all of them. Since then, he can't eat kibble anymore, because he can't chew it.

4. Adapted canned food would allow him to gain strength without having to chew

With easy-to-ingest wet canned food, Budy could eat again without having to chew. He could finally get his strength back, and perhaps reach an average weight.
