Covered in parasites and suffering from a disease, Aristote is in a bad way!

1. He was found without his mother...

Aristote is a little bit over 2 months old, we found him with his brothers and sister a week ago, in a field near a farm. The poor things were just weaned and had been left without their mother to look after them!

2. He is very stunted!

Aristote must have been starved for a few days before we found him, as he is very poorly. He is two months old, but looks twice as young!

3. He was sick and full of fleas...

When we found him, Aristote was full of fleas and had coryza. His eyes are running, his nose is blocked and he scratches a lot. So we give him a flea treatment, antibiotics and clean his eyes regularly, to help him get better.

4. Blankets would allow him to rest in a warm place

Without the warmth of his mum, Aristote can be very lonely. Blankets would give him a warm, comfortable place to rest until he is well.

5. We are facing a wave of abandonment!

We haven't been able to collect food in stores for a while because of the health crisis. Despite this current lack of resources, the association still had to collect many kittens.

There have been a lot of abandonments this summer: during the containements, people have adopted animals, which they have abandoned during the holidays... This represents many more mouths to feed for us, but we do not have the means!
