An old fracture of the pelvis prevents Anaba from bending her hind legs...

1. She had a fractured pelvis and has difficulty moving!

Anaba is an 11 year old pony, who had a fractured pelvis that was not treated. The poor girl can't bend her hind legs at all! She also has arthritis, because she compensates for this handicap by leaning a lot on her front legs...

2. An allergy to hay causes her respiratory problems

Anaba is allergic to hay. If she eats it or breathes in dust, she gets emphysema and has coughing fits.

3. With pellets, she could gain strength without risk

Moistened pellets would be perfect for Anaba to replenish her energy. This way, she can regain her strength for her daily routine without the risk of coughing.

4. We are out of budget!

We have had a lot of rescues, with 3 new horses this summer alone. As it was impossible to make animations for a while, our budget is at its lowest. Donations are scarce, but veterinary expenses are still important. We will need help!
