1. In France, Laetitia is almost out of kibble to feed the 90 free cats that need her help... The poor cats are in danger of starving to death!

"Lately, we've been feeding about 50 street cats, spread across 16 feeding sites. But recently, a site with nearly 40 additional free cats was discovered!

Unfortunately, we have very little kibble left... We have no choice but to ration the cats, as we cannot afford to buy food for them.

Some are deficient, others are losing weight and are starting to fight to eat. Since it is winter, they do not find much to hunt and are weakened. About 30 of them are actually sick... it's a vicious circle from which we will have to get all these poor cats out as soon as possible, otherwise they might die of hunger!"

2. Often operated for cysts, Cookie is a particularly vulnerable free cat... he won't survive without kibble!

"Cookie is a cat with a disease that causes him to have many cysts that eventually rupture. Often, he can't walk anymore because the pain is so intense! He then needs surgery to remove them, but the cysts always end up coming back.

Cookie went through a series of operations. Each time he comes out of convalescence, we have to release him in the street, because he is too wild to live inside. He is weak and often lacks energy. Lately, he has lost weight... If we don't have any more kibble to give him, he won't survive!"

3. The veterinary expenses have emptied the association's account... they can no longer buy kibble!

"Since Covid, donations have declined; but the abandonments are increasing! We also have calls from destitute individuals who no longer have the financial means to take care of their pets.

The cats to be fed and looked after are thus more numerous. Since September 2021 alone, we have had 3,900 euros worth of veterinary expenses!

As our finances are dry, it is impossible for us to buy kibble for the free cats... and even less to sterilize the 40 stray cats of the last discovered site! So they will reproduce, and the number of mouths to feed will increase again... "

4. Laetitia is not asking for money, she just needs kibble so that the free cats don't starve.

"I have been working to help cats for years. Being president of the association for the past year has allowed me to devote even more of my time to them. Taking care of the cats in need is the equivalent of a half-time job per week.

We have to feed them, take care of them, but also have them sterilized. They need us so much, we can't give up!"
