As he was wounded in the eye, nobody wants to adopt poor Salto!

1. He was injured in one eye...

Salto is a young cat of 10 months, that we found in the street when he was very small. At two and a half months old, he got a spike in his eye. He had to be anaesthetized and operated on to remove it...

2. Nobody wants to adopt him!

Salto is very cuddly, but nobody wants to adopt him, because one of his eyes remains cloudy despite the operation.

3. With blankets, he would be warm

To make it through the winter, Salto will need fleece blankets. By helping him retain his body heat, blankets would indeed be a great help to him, and would bring him a lot of comfort!

4. Our scope of action is limited by our small budget!

Our association currently takes care of about 50 free cats. As we are a very small structure, we have very few means.

Most of the cats have severe and chronic pathologies, and many are not adoptable. To take care of them represents big veterinary expenses, that we have a lot of difficulty to pay without cutting down on the budget for food and blankets...
