Found in hypothermia, Pita is skeletal!

1. She is in critical condition!

Pita is a cat of about 6 months old, that we found outside in hypothermia, following a report. The vet rehydrated her and warmed her up with an infrared lamp. That was close!

We hope that the hardest part is behind her, but there is still a lot to do: she is really skinny. We are currently feeding her with a syringe, as she has so much difficulty to eat...

2. To gain weight, she will need special canned food

Canned food enriched with proteins and vitamins would allow Pita to regain her energy quickly. She could then put herself out of danger, by gaining weight little by little.
