Loss of sight, pulmonary edema, heart problem: poor Blinky is in really bad shape...

1. Affected by an immune problem, he accumulates diseases...

Blinky is a 4-year-old cat with feline immunodeficiency syndrome (FIV). Because his immune system is less efficient, he keeps getting seriously ill.

His gums are inflamed, and he sometimes has to be fed with a syringe because he has trouble eating. He also caught a chronic coryza, which made him develop a pulmonary edema. He had to be hospitalized and put on medication.

2. He is very weakened by a heart murmur!

In addition to being anemic, Blinky is constantly tired because of a heart murmur. As a result, he is often down and out of breath.

3. He is going blind

We don't know exactly why, but Blinky is going blind. Since he can hardly see anything, everything is more complicated for him in his daily life!

4. With canned food, he could regain his strength to be in better general shape

Cans of complete food would provide Blinky with all the nutrients he needs to get his energy back. Such a diet would be a great support to him, to face all his health problems.

5. Vulnerable cats need us!

We sterilize, identify, vaccinate and feed cats. The most vulnerable are placed in foster homes or shelters. To feed those in need, we will need cans of veterinary food. We are asking for your help...
