Disabled, poor Oudini is incontinent...
It is always a huge disappointment to see a campaign fail, it means that the concerned animals will not receive any help. Unfortunately, we can not ship incomplete campaigns.
We want to maximize the help we are all bringing to the animals in distress. Our campaign goals are calculated to balance our storage, delivery and manufacturing costs of the offered products.
Delivering failed campaigns would generate too many costs, which would eventually lead to the bankruptcy of the website and leave all the animals that we could have helped alone...
The delivery of unfinished campaigns is also physically impossible for some products (if only 50% of a kennel is financed: we can not cut it in half).
Our activity is regulated by the french tax law, it forbides us to transfer money instead of the advertised product (article L 548-1 of the Monetary and Financial Code).
For this reason, when a campaign fails, donations are immediately refunded. If they want to, donors can send this money directly to the association.
Our activity is regulated by the french tax law, it forbides us to use the money for anything else than the original use announced in the campaign (article L 548-1).
So, unfortunately, we are not allowed to transfer donations from a campaign to another.
Free clicks are saved before being reallocated to other campaigns (free clicks being immaterial, they are not submited to the same obligations than financial donations).
This campaign failed, it won't be delivered... Collected quantities have been cancelled (payments have been transfered back and free clicks have been saved in a stock).

Animal Webaction visited the site 08 July 2022 and confirms the situation described below.
"In our area, there are a lot of unwanted puppies ending up on the streets, in fields, in woods because people still refuse to sterilize their pets. Once born, most people simply aren't bothered about the puppies, they don't care about their existence, and just abandon the fruits of their carelessness... It's a never-ending story.
I do my very best to gather as many as I can but right now things are especially difficult. The number of puppies under my care has risen considerably since spring and there aren't any adoptions to balance it out. It's summer, people are going on holidays, they do not care about adopting dogs right now. But even in May and June, we sent 6 dogs all together, which is far less than usual.
To make matters worse, kibble prices have gone up like crazy. I mean, the price for junior food has always been high but now the price for one single bag has more than doubled; it is unbearable! And while the municipality does help me provide some food for the adult dogs, I do not receive any help when it comes to the puppies. Donations have dropped massively as everyone is more cautious with their spendings in these times of uncertainty. I am out here trying every possible option to fill the puppies' bowls but I'm failing, and my personal income certainly isn't enough to make up for the gap in donations... I need some help to make sure the puppies have food secured for the next while and the only way to do so is with this campaign!"
"Because of the price increase on petfood, I cannot buy as much kibble as before...The food runs out quicker as a result and I don't have any means to buy more. Right now I only have enough kibble to last a couple of more days... If I don't get any help gathering kibble for the puppies, I'm really afraid that things will take a turn for the worse.
Some of the puppies had parvo coming here and unfortunately died, some have made a miraculous recovery; these are definitely the weakest ones. They are isolated from the others and I take a lot of precautions to ensure that they are given the best care possible, but without an appropriate food intake, all my efforts go straight to the bin...
It is heartbreaking, I have cared for them for so long, they are like my family. I simply refuse to think they will have no food, that they will starve, die from diseases or kill each other fighting over the little food I have left... I really need this campaign to succeed so I can accomplish my mission to save these innocent souls. They deserve a better life."
"Dany is around 3 months old, I took him in a couple of months ago. He was abandoned along with his 4 brothers near the shelter. They all got parvo and 2 of them died. Dany struggled but he fortunately pulled through!
He was treated and he is doing better now but he is still compared to the other dogs his age. I hope to find a home for him eventually but first of all, I need to make sure he recovers fully! He needs good food and nutrients to make sure he overcomes the disease for good. "
"The municipality only helps for the adult dogs, they give half of the amount of the food that's needed for them. They also pay for the 2 people working at the pound and the vet emergencies. Everything else, I have to fundraise for : the rest of the adult food, the entirety of the puppy food and for other expenses as well like improving the shelter, vaccines, sterilizations, treatments.
I do my best but I won't lie, it is tough. Donations have evolved in a bad way, there are less and less. With the war in Ukraine, prices going up, people are even more careful with their money. I’ve literally turned every stone, talked to everybody, reached out to many people, nobody is willing to help anymore, people don’t have money.
I buy from my own funds for lack of a better option but unfortunately my salary cannot cover all the expenses, far from it. I have a job, a family and I also dedicate my free time and efforts and money to the shelter, but it feels like nothing is ever enough! I need more help and donations to see it through."
"I started rescuing dogs around a decade ago. It started out small, I was rescuing dogs and bringing them to my home and then it evolved gradually. I started volunteering at the municipal pound to improve the conditions for the dogs living over there and I've never stopped since. If you came here a few years ago, it honestly looked like an extermination camp... I worked a lot to make things better and I'm really proud of how the shelter has now evolved.
In my town, I am seen like the crazy lady with the dogs! I have absolutely no support from anyone but I keep going, I am used to it by now. Sometimes I feel sad, sometimes hopeless, sometimes I truly believe that what I am doing is making a change, it varies. It's definitely a lot of ups and downs!
I fundraise for them, I look for their forever homes, I network, I organize sterilizations... it's all very exhausting but the only thing that keeps me going is knowing that I am saving these dogs' lives and I'm watching them get better. They all deserve a better life and they all deserve to find a home."
Animal Webaction has a logistic platform in Romania, which allows us to intervene quickly and deliver kibble.
"I work with 3 other organizations for adoptions, 2 in France, 1 in Germany : Inima, La porte de l’Espoir and SOS StrassenTiere. Even though their help means a lot, they too are affected by the global crisis and they cannot help all the time. I contacted other organizations to help me with sterilizations notably, but unfortunately everybody turned me down.
Animal Welfare organizations have their hands full and regular people got bored to hear about dogs, they have their own issues to deal with and they can no longer donate. But for me things are different, I am too involved in this, I can't just shrug my shoulders and move on to the next topic. I can’t sleep at night thinking I won't be able to save them... These dogs need me everyday and if I give up, nobody else will help them! I need this campaign to succeed badly, for them."
When a campaign fails, Animal Webaction cannot deliver the products. The organizer doesn't receive anything and the buyers are refunded.
