Pinocchio is a one-month-old kitten, that we found in the street three weeks ago. His mother was not there to take care of him, and he was not doing well: hidden in a bush, he had an infected eye... he would surely have died if people had not reported him to us!
In addition to bottle-feeding Pinocchio, we provide him with the care he needs. But we can't replace the warmth of his mother... With blankets, he could curl up in a cozy place. He'd be warm and cozy until he's older and less vulnerable.
We have set up a secure garden with cottages for 68 cats, and at the same time we feed about 30 street cats. Unfortunately, our stock of blankets is reduced to zero. Between the veterinary costs and all the kittens and their mothers that need to be cared for, we can't afford to buy any more blankets...
