1. He suffers from a hormonal disease...

M'Tata is a 30-year-old shetland, who was in danger of being euthanized or abandoned. So we took him in.

He unfortunately suffers from cushing's disease: his hair is shaggy and he tends to lose weight.

2. He has difficulty walking

With time, M'Tata has developed a lot of arthritis. Moreover his hooves are also very long. All this makes it very difficult for him to move around!

3. His teeth are in bad condition!

Because of the lack of sufficient dental care in the past, M'Tata has more and more difficulty to chew. It is going to be necessary that he sees a dentist urgently, because his teeth are really very damaged!

4. With pellets, he could eat more easily

Moistened pellets would be a great help to M'Tata, considering the state of his teeth. It would be the occasion for him to fill up again with vitamins, to spend his old days in better shape.

5. We had a large unexpected rescue!

We had to do a big rescue of 12 horses not long ago. With the 40 or so equines (donkeys, horses, ponies) that we were already taking care of, it's starting to be a lot... it's becoming difficult to find the finances to care for and feed them all!
