Paillette is a 23-year-old pony, that we took in to prevent her from ending up in the slaughterhouse. In spite of all our efforts, she remained very fearful...

2. She probably suffers from a disease...

Paillette has a lot of abscesses and doesn't lose her winter coat, which is not normal. Since these are symptoms of Cushing's disease, we are in the process of having her tested. We will then know if she has it.

3. Pellets would help her keep some weight on

A quality diet such as pellets would help Paillette maintain her condition. She would get enough vitamins until we know more about her health.

4. We manage 150 animals!
