Kidney disease, inflamed gums, very painful paw pads: Pompon is in bad health...

1. He has kidney problems...

Pompon is a 4 year-old-cat, who has kidney failure. His kidneys don't work well, and don't filter toxins out of his body properly... So he tends to be tired.

2. His gums hurt so much that eating hurts!

Pompon unfortunately suffers from chronic inflammation of the gums. Red and swollen, they are very painful, and cause him difficulties to eat!

3. His paw pads are very sore!

Pompon has abscesses and lesions in his paw pads. Walking or just leaning on his paws is very painful!

4. Blankets would give him a cozy place to rest

Soft fleece blankets would allow Pompon to keep his paw pads as intact as possible. He could then sit comfortably, rest and recover some energy when he needs it.

5. Many cats are sick!

As it is complicated to receive subsidies, we are having trouble paying the veterinary bills. Many cats continue to get sick (kidney problems, coryza, gingivitis, etc.). On top of that, feeding about 60 cats requires a certain budget... We don't know where to turn!
