1. She was injured in a trap!

Koukla is an 11 years old dog, who was found in the forest with her puppies, a few months ago. The poor girl had her paw crushed in a trap! Unfortunately, we could not save this paw...

2. She was mistreated...

Koukla has been mistreated. She is covered with scars and has lead shots lodged in her neck and ear! She also keeps psychological after-effects: she is very fearful.

3. She has almost no teeth left

Koukla has no more teeth at all and she misses many other teeth. She can't chew her food at all.

4. With canned food, she could easily regain her strength

An easy-to-ingest food would help Koukla to regain her energy daily, despite the state of her teeth. It would be an opportunity for her to regain her strength serenely, after all that she had to go through these last years.

5. Our association is making new rescues again, despite the difficulties...

We have had a lot of deaths of old dogs lately. The change of season has not helped, and has made the situation even more complicated.

At the same time, we are being asked from everywhere and have resumed the rescues. Without subsidies and with such high veterinary costs, the situation may not get any better... But we can't close our eyes to animal suffering!
