1. He has suffered all kinds of abuse...

Marley is a 10 year old cat, whom we took in this summer. The poor guy has been abused for years: we got him with a broken jaw and wounds and other fractures all over. We don't know what he had to eat, but he also developed severe food allergies.

2. He is missing teeth and is very skinny!

All that he has been through has put a lot of strain on Marley's body and stopped his growth: he looks like a very young cat because he hasn't gained weight in his life!

To reconsolidate his jaw, it was necessary to extract teeth. He can't eat kibble anymore.

3. Adapted canned food would allow him to eat without too much difficulty

Easy-to-eat food would help Marley gain strength every day, despite his missing teeth. With special food allergy canned food, he could put many of his health problems behind him.

4. Our association is making new rescues again, despite the difficulties...

We have had many deaths of older dogs lately. The change of season has not helped, and has made the situation even more complicated.

At the same time, we are being asked from everywhere and have resumed the rescues. Without subsidies and with such high veterinary costs, the situation may not get any better... But we can't close our eyes to animal suffering!
