1. He has a big calicivirus...

Sécotin is a cat of about 11 years old, who is currently having an outbreak of calicivirus. He is missing teeth, he is drooling, his nose is bloody and he has lost a lot of weight.

He also probably has new abscesses inside his mouth. But since he lives outside, it is quite complicated to treat him.

2. Canned food would help him gain weight

With wet canned food, Sécotin could eat without having too much pain in his mouth. Such a high-protein diet would help him to gradually regain the weight he had lost. Once he feels more confident, he might also be more easily treated.

3. A virus has spread among the street cats!

At a feeding site, we are facing an epidemic of calicivirus. Many cats are extremely ill, which results in a lot of costs.
