With diabetes and weight loss, Charlie needs a proper diet!

1. He has diabetes...

Charlie is a 12 years old cat, who tested positive for diabetes. The poor guy has lost a lot of weight! We give him medication injections twice a month (we can't afford to do more) and have placed him in a foster home.

2. Canned food adapted to his pathology would allow him to refuel without risk

To get his strength back, Charlie would need a diet that helps stabilize his blood sugar and keep him healthy. High quality protein and low carbohydrate canned food would be perfect for him.

In the long run, this would help reduce his risk of diabetes-related complications (kidney disease, urinary problems), while limiting his weight loss.

3. Everything adds up very quickly!

Many of the horses we care for were in poor health, and needed expensive veterinary care. Between that, the increasing prices of food and the hay that we had to import from neighboring departments... our budget was hard hit!
