Whitney is a 7 month old kitten, who was abandoned in a house after a move. We don't know how long she was there by herself, but the neighbors were eventually alerted by her cries and contacted us. She had coryza but was able to be treated and is starting to get better.
Now that she's out of the woods, Whitney will need a diet that meets her specific nutritional needs. Kitten food, rich in carbohydrates, protein and good fats, would be perfect for her to grow up healthy.
We would give her enough of these several times a day to make sure she doesn't run out of anything anymore.
Many of the horses we care for were in poor health, and needed expensive veterinary care. Between that, rising feed prices, and the hay we had to import from neighboring departments... our budget was hit hard!
