1. He was not eating anymore...

Alsie is a cat of about 10 years old, who drools a lot and has lost a lot of weight, to the point of being anemic. And for cause: the poor one has a gingivostomatitis, which prevents him from eating. His gums, his tongue, his mouth... all are painful!

2. He had big respiratory problems!

Heavily dehydrated, Alsie also had big problems with his lungs when he was found. He was breathing very loudly and quickly. Fortunately, he recovered with treatment, but it exhausted him a lot...

3. He is paralyzed

We don't know why, but Alsie is paralyzed in both hind legs. It is a handicap for him in his daily life!

4. Wet canned food would help him regain his strength

An easy to ingest food would allow Alsie to start eating again while staying well hydrated. This would allow him to gradually regain his strength and recover. After all he's been through, canned food of such quality would really help him!

5. The situation is very complex...

It is very challenging right now. We had to take in a lot of new cats, and we end up with about 60 cats at the shelter, not counting those on the feeding spots. As we did not get any subsidies this year, we have no financial resources...
