Mamie Siam is an old cat, that we found as a stray. She was very skinny, because of a gingivostomatitis that prevented her from eating. We treated her for this but discovered that she has kidney failure, which explains her persistent thinness...

2. Special canned food would help improve her condition

A diet specially designed to ease the strain on the kidneys would be of great help to Mamie Siam. Not only would it allow her to get her fill of nutrients, but it would also give her the opportunity to put on some weight without risk.
