Abou is a 9-year-old cat that we rescued as a kitten with his mother. He was adopted but was letting himself die in his new family. We took him back under our care. As he is very fearful, we could not put him up for adoption again.
As his teeth were damaged, they all had to be removed. He can no longer chew at all.
A wet diet would be the easiest option for Abou to ingest, now that he no longer has teeth to feed himself. Rich in high-quality proteins, such cans would be perfect to provide him with the daily energy he needs to regain strength.
Foster families are overloaded because we keep receiving SOS calls. Kittens still keep arriving, but we have no more room… We do not know how to help all these cats in need anymore!
