Not performing well in races, Fred was at risk of being sent to the slaughterhouse...

1. He was at risk of being slaughtered!

Fred is a 7-year-old horse who wasn't very good at racing. Therefore, he was at risk of being sent to the slaughterhouse... Luckily, a neighbor contacted us so that we could take care of him. He arrived in a weakened state.

2. Pellets would help him regain some weight

A food rich in minerals and vitamins, such as pellets, would help Fred regain his strength. This way, he would be less likely to lose condition during the seasonal change, when horses are often more vulnerable.

3. We need your help!

Since we don't have any grass, the horses rely on hay all year round. The older ones and those with health issues need to be supplemented. However, with our limited funds, it's difficult for us to afford pellets for them, as they are becoming more and more expensive...
