Parasitic disease, heart murmur: poor Muyal needs to regain his strength!

1. He has leishmaniasis...

Muyal is a 2-year-old dog, who arrived from Spain. He is suffering from leishmaniasis, a chronic disease caused by a parasite infesting cells in his body. He needs to undergo a specific treatment regime, without which he quickly becomes distressed and starts whimpering from pain everywhere...

2. He is afflicted with a heart murmur!

Sadly, Muyal has a heart murmur. Plans are underway to take him for an ultrasound to determine whether medication is needed for this condition as well.

3. Canned food would give him back his energy

A palatable and moist diet would allow Muyal to more easily take his medication. It would also provide him with an opportunity to re-energise, aiding his body in coping with these ongoing health challenges.

4. We're on a tightrope!

We're caring for a hundred animals, which involves considerable work, energy and care. Financially, our funds are precariously balanced, despite our best efforts!
