The association 4 Pattes 30 decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of canned food is highly critical.
Galinette is a 9-year-old cat who was cruelly left by her owners. Poor Galinette found herself out on her own overnight, when they adopted a dog...
Weakened, Galinette has contracted feline herpesvirus (commonly known as cat flu). Her nose is perpetually runny, so she doesn’t have much of an appetite. We regularly take her to the vets for steam treatments to help her breathe easier. But the virus quickly takes control again...
The tempting scent and flavour of canned food could help Galinette regain her appetite and make it easier for her to ingest regular medicinal treatment.
As this is a wet food, Galinette could maintain good hydration, and her respiratory tract may be somewhat eased. Such daily protein and vitamin intake would allow her to fight the infection more effectively.
This is the first year that we have received absolutely no cash donations. With around fifty animals under our care, many of whom are ill and need medical attention, the situation is becoming more than critical. Our food stocks are almost depleted, and we are unable to replenish them!
