Shakira is a six month-old kitten, who we found four months ago with her sisters and brother in a cardboard box. The poor four were infested with fleas, had ear mites and were suffering from cat flu. We thus took them under our wing and provided the necessary care.
Despite the treatments and care put in place, Shakira still suffers from digestive troubles. Significant diarrhoea prevents her from properly absorbing the nutrients in her food. In the long run, her growth could be affected!
A diet rich in vitamins would allow Shakira to continue her growth without too many difficulties. Based on highly digestible proteins, these cans of food could possibly even decrease the frequency and intensity of her diarrhoea.
We only receive a small amount of subsidies, and yet are tasked with managing nearly 130 cats. Being able to buy enough food despite inflation is becoming an impossible task!
