Emaciated and sick, Marcel was locked in a box and abandoned!

1. He was locked up!

Marcel is a month and a half old kitten, who was found at a feeding point. Poor Marcel had been abandoned in a box sealed with tape! He could have died if we hadn't got him out of there...

2. He is skeletal due to cat flu...

Unfortunately, Marcel has cat flu, a disease that, if untreated, can kill a kitten. His eyes are full of pus and his nose is completely blocked. The virus has knocked him out so much that he's skeletal!

3. With blankets, he could comfortably rest

A set of blankets would provide a clean and comfortable spot for Marcel to rest. He could settle there and stay warm, waiting to get better.

4. Abandonments are on the rise...

More and more cats and kittens are being abandoned at feeding sites. They often arrive in poor health, with serious conditions or chronic viruses. On top of feeding over sixty cats, we have taken in another ten kittens!
