Daisy is a 7-month-old kitten that we found four months ago with her sisters and brother in a cardboard box. The poor kittens were infested with fleas, had ear mites and were suffering from cat flu. We thus took them under our care and treated their ailments.
Despite our treatments and care, Daisy remains struck with digestive problems. Significant diarrhoea is preventing her from properly absorbing nutrients from her food. In the long run, this could affect her growth!
A diet concentrated in vitamins would enable Daisy to continue her growth without too much trouble. Prepared with highly digestible proteins, these canned foods could perhaps even reduce the frequency and intensity of her diarrhoea.
We receive very few subsidies, yet need to manage around 130 cats. Managing to purchase enough food despite inflation is becoming an impossible mission!
