1. In Morocco, Nassima has almost run out of kibble to feed the many dogs she cares for in her shelter and on the street. They will starve if no one intervenes!

"Our supplies of kibble are dwindling fast, and I'm forced to ration portions for the dogs. This shortage also affects the street dogs, to whom I can only give leftover food. My visits to these animals are becoming increasingly rare, due to a lack of resources...

The consequences of this shortage are serious. Malnourished dogs develop illnesses more quickly, and fights break out, a clear sign of their stress and hunger. I can't take in new dogs either, because I don't have the money to feed them. And my debts prevent me from buying new kibble...

Every day that goes by without kibble is one day too many for these animals, who depend entirely on my help to survive. I fight, with all my strength, to keep them alive, but faced with this shortage, I feel powerless... The absence of this kibble means not only hunger, but also an increased risk of disease, fights and, potentially, the death of those I have sworn to protect..."

2. Without kibble, the dogs' health deteriorates and fights are rife: Nassima fears they'll die in the streets if nothing changes!

"The situation is becoming critical because of the imminent shortage of kibble. I can already see the consequences: the dogs are losing weight fast, their ribs are becoming visible. This weight loss is not only a sign of hunger, but also the prelude to diseases that could spread like epidemics among them, especially among street dogs!

Their behavior changes too. Normally friendly and playful, the dogs become distrustful and aggressive, a natural survival reaction but one that makes their cohabitation more difficult at the shelter, and my monitoring of the street dogs much more arduous. The fights between them are intensifying, and I'm afraid they're going to get out of hand...

If this shortage of kibble continues, not only will the dogs in our care suffer, but it will also prevent us from rescuing other dogs in the future. What torments me most is the knowledge that without kibble, these dogs risk dying on the streets, invisible and forgotten. Their survival depends on our ability to feed them, and that ability is dangerously close to running out..."

3. Despite her best efforts, Nassima has had one failure after another in her search for kibble: she can only count on our help to feed her dogs!

"I feel constant pressure. My attempts to collect kibble are met with obstacles at every turn. Appeals for donations on social networks have not generated the expected results. We can't manage to collect enough kibble to meet the needs of our protégés.

I have also tried to negotiate with suppliers to obtain discounts or deferred payments, without success. The reality is that costs remain high and our financial resources are limited. Even solicitations to international foundations and potential sponsors have come to nothing. In an act of desperation, I've even sold some personal belongings to buy kibble, but that's far from enough...

Every day, I see the looks on the dogs' faces as they rely on us for their survival, and the feeling of helplessness is overwhelming. Without a reliable source of kibble, their future and well-being are in serious jeopardy. This situation demonstrates the vulnerability of our mission and the crucial importance of every contribution in maintaining our rescue efforts."

4. Nassima isn't asking for money, only kibble to keep the dogs from starving. 

"Running the shelter is a real bag of knots when we run out of kibble. Without proper nutrition, the dogs lose their health, requiring more veterinary care. This means that our limited resources, already stretched, are stretched even further!

The lack of kibble has a cascading effect on our daily activities. Normally, an important part of our job is to socialize and educate dogs to facilitate their adoption. But with the current shortage, we have to allocate most of our time to managing their immediate dietary and medical needs. This considerably reduces the time we can devote to their socialization.

This situation is further complicated by the fact that without a balanced diet, the dogs' health deteriorates, increasing the risk of disease and complicating their future adoption. The lack of kibble forces us to focus solely on their survival, putting aside their long-term development. This creates constant pressure on our team, knowing that every day without kibble reduces these dogs' chances of leading a full and healthy life!"

5. Nassima remains resolutely committed to improving the lives of abandoned dogs, despite limited resources and constant emotional fatigue.

"I made the choice to dedicate my life to caring for abandoned dogs. This mission, although gratifying, exhausts me emotionally and physically. The sadness of seeing dogs suffer touches me deeply, impacting my morale and determination.

Another major challenge in this fight is the lack of local support. The cultural and social difficulties I encounter make my mission even more arduous. I come up against the shelter's limits on a daily basis, faced with the reality that our resources are insufficient to meet the growing needs of the dogs.

Despite these challenges, I remain determined. The conviction that my work contributes to saving and improving the lives of these dogs gives me the strength to persevere. It is this certainty that enables me to overcome exhaustion and sadness!"

6. If this campaign succeeds, Nassima will not receive any money, but 2000 kg of kibble, delivered from Animal Webaction's logistics centre in Morocco.

When a campaign fails, Animal Webaction cannot deliver the products, the beneficiary does not receive anything and the buyers are refunded.

8. In Morocco, donors are scarce, and there are no foundations or subsidies. It is very difficult to find funding for kibble, many dogs remain starving in the streets!
