Arthritis, difficulty walking... Digitale is getting older and needs supplementing!
It is always a huge disappointment to see a campaign fail, it means that the concerned animals will not receive any help. Unfortunately, we can not ship incomplete campaigns.
We want to maximize the help we are all bringing to the animals in distress. Our campaign goals are calculated to balance our storage, delivery and manufacturing costs of the offered products.
Delivering failed campaigns would generate too many costs, which would eventually lead to the bankruptcy of the website and leave all the animals that we could have helped alone...
The delivery of unfinished campaigns is also physically impossible for some products (if only 50% of a kennel is financed: we can not cut it in half).
Our activity is regulated by the french tax law, it forbides us to transfer money instead of the advertised product (article L 548-1 of the Monetary and Financial Code).
For this reason, when a campaign fails, donations are immediately refunded. If they want to, donors can send this money directly to the association.
Our activity is regulated by the french tax law, it forbides us to use the money for anything else than the original use announced in the campaign (article L 548-1).
So, unfortunately, we are not allowed to transfer donations from a campaign to another.
Free clicks are saved before being reallocated to other campaigns (free clicks being immaterial, they are not submited to the same obligations than financial donations).
This campaign failed, it won't be delivered... Collected quantities have been cancelled (payments have been transfered back and free clicks have been saved in a stock).

Animal Webaction visited the site 10 December 2023 and confirms the situation described below.
"The number of dogs at the shelter has increased recently, putting a strain on our resources. Our current stock of kibble is alarming: there's only enough left for five days, and the quality is far from adequate. This has forced me to cut back on kibble portions, leaving the dogs with less than they need to stay healthy.
The consequences of this shortage are serious: the dogs are suffering from malnutrition and are visibly losing weight. They are even fighting amongst themselves, something they never did before... This crisis has brought us to a critical point. It's now impossible for us to save any more dogs, because we're trying to feed the ones we're already caring for!
Not being able to protect and feed these animals who depend entirely on us is a constant fear. The situation is deteriorating rapidly, and the prospect of what awaits us if this shortage continues is alarming...The survival of the dogs is at stake!"
"If the kibble shortage continues, the dogs risk developing serious health problems. Their weakened immune systems could make them vulnerable to infection and disease, which would be harder to treat in their malnourished state. Some dogs, particularly puppies and older dogs, may not survive...
Stress and hunger could also lead to even more aggressive behavior between dogs. Fights and injuries could become more frequent and more serious, requiring medical care that we would be hard pressed to provide as it is...
The imminence of winter makes the situation we face even more drastic. The cold months in Bosnia are particularly hard on the dogs... their ability to survive these conditions is seriously compromised without kibble. The prospect of not being able to provide for these dogs is a frightening reality... The kibble crisis must be tackled as a matter of urgency! We are pinning all our hopes on this campaign.."
"We've tried everything to get kibble, but we're going in circles. On social networks, we post regular updates to keep our audience engaged and informed about the shelter's situation. These posts are widely shared, but contributions of kibble remain minimal.
We have contacted local businesses in the hope of obtaining donations, to no avail. We also contacted former adopters, hoping that their past links with the shelter would encourage them to help us. Although their responses have been encouraging, the help received has been limited. An Italian animal protection organization is already supporting our efforts, but their capacities are also limited by the economic crisis.
This constant struggle to obtain enough kibble for the dogs is very worrying. The gap between the amount of kibble we have and the amount we need continues to be a major concern. The situation is critical and the survival of our dogs is at stake and depends on resolving this kibble shortage..."
"The shortage of kibble profoundly affects our ability to care for dogs and rehabilitate those who are ill. Without adequate kibble, it's difficult to provide care and regular monitoring of their health...
This shortage also hampers our efforts to socialize dogs. Future adopters are looking for healthy, sociable dogs, and our ability to meet these expectations is compromised. Hunger affects not only their health, but also their ability to concentrate and relax, which is vital for their development and socialization. In the long term, our adoption rates are likely to suffer...
We are also forced to stop new rescues due to a lack of resources. Running the shelter efficiently in these circumstances is increasingly difficult, as every aspect of our operation is linked to the availability of kibble! This shortage not only threatens the physical health of the dogs, it jeopardizes the very essence of our shelter's purpose and function!"
"My work with abandoned dogs in Bosnia is motivated by a simple but powerful belief: every dog deserves a chance. This belief motivates me every day, whether I'm caring for a malnourished dog or teaching others about animal care. The progress of these dogs, from their first hesitant tail wag to the moment they're ready for adoption, is what fuels my determination.
In this journey, each successful adoption is an important milestone, reinforcing the importance of our mission. It's not just about sheltering these animals, but preparing them for a life beyond the shelter. The transformation of a once malnourished dog into a happy pet is a testament to the impact of our work.
This mission is difficult, but it's driven by a deep love for animals and a belief in a better future for them. Every little victory, every bit of progress, keeps me going, despite the obstacles we face. It's an ongoing effort to give these dogs the life they deserve."
