Anaemia, exhaustion, eye ulcer: Pistache urgently needed surgery!

1. She has always lived outdoors...

Pistache is a year-and-a-half-old cat, born at a feeding site. Poor Pistache has never known anything else nor experienced the warmth and love of a home!

2. She had to undergo eye surgery!

A few days ago, we found Pistache visibly weak and extremely anemic. She had developed an eye ulcer due to an infected wound. The vet therefore had to operate on her immediately!

3. Blankets would keep her warm

With winter on its way, Pistache could really use a batch of blankets. This would provide her with a clean, comfy spot to rest and recover from her surgery.

4. We're stretched to the limit!

Our financial situation is very strained. We're doing what we can, but our association is forever walking a tightrope when it comes to food... Hence, I'm frequently dipping into my own pocket to cover the costs. Sadly, my own resources aren't unlimited and I can't keep up like this for long!
