Due to a malformation in his mouth, poor Rembrandt is terribly thin!

1. His ailment leaves him vulnerable...

Rembrandt, a 9-year-old cat, has tested positive for FIV. This disease, which gradually destroys his immune system, leaves him significantly weakened.

2. He struggles to eat!

Due to a malformation in his mouth and an inflammation, Rembrandt finds it very difficult to eat. He drools and has lost considerable weight...

3. Blankets could keep him warm this winter

In addition to receiving treatment for his mouth ailment, Rembrandt will need ample rest. Blankets could provide him with a cosy and comfortable place where he could recuperate. This would help him stay warm throughout the winter and prevent him from falling even more ill.

4. Our calls for donations are futile...

Things are quite challenging at the moment as we have many additional animals to care for. Some require treatment, while others need special feed... However, we have not been receiving any donations. We even set up a fundraising campaign to pay for sterilisations and not a penny has been collected!
