1. He's contracted a virus due to an immune disease…

Ruben is a 7-year-old cat, who no one wishes to adopt because of his health condition. Veterinary examinations have indeed revealed that he carries FIV.

This disease, which attacks his immune system, makes him particularly vulnerable. He has also contracted calicivirus, and experiences pain in his mouth when eating...

2. He has digestive disorders!

We don't know if it is related to his treatment or his disease, but Ruben tends to have gastrointestinal disorders. He alternates between bouts of constipation and diarrhoea, which is challenging for his body.

3. Canned food would help him to regain his strength

With canned food designed to aid intestinal regeneration, Ruben could gradually see his disorders reduce. Such food would also be much easier for him to eat, despite the oral inflammation he suffers from.

4. We urgently need assistance!

There is such a high demand for care that we cannot fulfil all of them. And as there are three times fewer opportunities to organise in-store collections than before, we have to fund 80% of the food ourselves... We won't be able to hold out much longer without help!
