"We're facing a major challenge: our stocks of kibble are dwindling dangerously, while the cost of acquiring it is rising all the time! It's not for lack of trying, but the donations we receive are insufficient to meet the needs of our cats. Reducing our portions of kibble is not a choice, but a necessity dictated by our limited resources...
This situation has serious consequences: illnesses develop more rapidly in cats, and they become weaker and more vulnerable. We are concerned to see that they are losing weight, an undeniable sign of the lack of kibble...
Faced with this emergency, we have no choice but to appeal to your generosity through this kibble campaign... It is vital that we obtain these resources quickly so that we can continue to feed and care for our cats. Without this help, our ability to care for them is seriously threatened!"
"Our sick cats are on the front line of this kibble crisis. Without adequate food, their already fragile state of health threatens to deteriorate rapidly. Existing pathologies could worsen, leading to severe complications...
The youngest cats, still growing, are also particularly vulnerable. Their immune systems, not yet fully developed, need all the nutritional resources they can get to fight off disease. The current shortage of kibble is jeopardising their very survival, as well as that of the many older cats in the refuge!
I feel immense distress at this situation. Without a sufficient supply of kibble, I'm afraid we're going to see a dramatic increase in the number of deaths in our shelter..."
"At the shelter, feeding our cats is a daily challenge, which we have tried to remedy time and time again, in every way possible... We have created an online fundraising page, targeting international donors. We submitted and shared videos on platforms to raise awareness of the precarious situation of our little protégés. I even contacted influencers in the hope that they would help us to highlight our situation.
Unfortunately, our efforts have not borne fruit as hoped. The donations we received didn't come close to covering our cats' needs. I've tried to negotiate deferred payments for kibble, but these efforts have proved fruitless, as the suppliers won't listen...
The pressure to find solutions for our cats is constant and overwhelming. The shortage of kibble puts them at serious risk, because they depend on us for their food! Without adequate support, the situation could quickly become disastrous..."
"The shortage of kibble is a major challenge in the management of our refuge. This shortage is severely hampering our efforts. It not only prevents us from improving the living conditions of our current residents, but also limits our ability to take in new ones, forcing us to make painful decisions.
The situation becomes even more complicated when it comes to caring for sick cats. Without a sufficient supply of kibble, their recovery is compromised, reducing their chances of recovering! This lack of kibble affects every aspect of our mission.
We are constantly under pressure, struggling to find the necessary resources to feed these animals who rely entirely on us. The lack of immediate solutions exposes our cats to avoidable suffering..."
"Leading an animal rescue mission in Morocco confronts me with a lonely and difficult reality. Every moment is marked by a struggle to overcome not only the practical challenges, but also the cultural barriers to animal care. I face persistent prejudice against stray animals, which makes my job even more complex...
The constant worry that I won't be able to help all the animals in need occupies my thoughts. Every animal I manage to save and care for is a triumph, a small miracle that rekindles my determination. However, seeing innocent animals suffer for lack of resources saddens me deeply. This mission requires emotional robustness, especially in situations where the animals' survival is threatened.
In this difficult environment, my hope lies in international support. Without this precious help, pursuing this vital mission is insurmountable. I have no choice but to ask for your support so that I can continue to make a difference to the lives of these animals..."
