1. Deprived of water and food...

Gérard is a cat of approximately 3 years old, who has been left behind by his owners when they moved. Poor Gérard was kept locked in the apartment for a month, devoid of water and nourishment! He was lifeless when we found him...

2. He has Leukaemia...

Regrettably, Gérard is weakened by leukaemia, an immune disease that destroys his natural defenses. Debilitated, he is very thin. Because this disease is highly infectious, we keep him separate from the other cats...

3. Blankets would keep him warm and cosy

With a collection of fleece blankets, Gérard would have a comfortable place to rest and recover. Sleeping warm would keep him shielded from draughts and humidity, preventing him from getting ill this winter!

4. Winter makes everything more difficult!

There have been many missing cats this year, as a result of fights at feeding sites. But with the arrival of kittens, the number of mouths to feed has nevertheless increased.

The return of winter makes our task somewhat trickier: the weakest animals are likely to become ill. They'll require care and a specific diet, which we can no longer afford...
