1. In France, Ghislaine has run out of kibble to feed the 250 street cats who rely on her... The poor things are in danger of starving to death!

"Between this summer's births and the new cats abandoned on site, we now have to look after 250 cats. That's 50 more mouths to feed in just a few months! We've reduced the amount of kibble as much as possible, but now we have nothing left to feed them...

The cats are so hungry in the cold that they'll eat anything. Some wander off in search of food and are poisoned by malicious residents. Others fall ill... The oldest and weakest won't survive the lack of kibble!"

2. With no resources to cope with the ever-increasing number of cats, the association has its head under water!

"As our association is still new, we are not entitled to subsidies. For the same reason, we are not yet recognised as being of general interest, and cannot issue tax receipts. This is a major obstacle to donations, which are already particularly rare...

We hope that things will change this year, but in the meantime we're going to have to find solutions, or risk sinking the association! No memberships, no sponsorships... How can we cope with the huge increase in the number of cats, with so few resources? I'm really worried."

3. Emaciated and in bad shape, Mogo won't survive without kibble...

"Mogo is a free cat who has been living outside for two years. He's been unwell for a few months now: his right eye is changing colour and he's lost a lot of weight. We're worried that he's falling ill... Without kibble, he's in danger of wasting away and not surviving the winter!"

"2023 was a particularly difficult year for the association. My expenses have stayed the same, but prices have gone up! Living and managing 250 cats on just 510 euros a month is impossible to manage. It's getting harder and harder, I'm completely overwhelmed...

I'm forced to go into personal debt to put the cats out of their misery. Unfortunately, no one else is interested in them... Without my help, they won't make it!"
