Betta is a year-and-a-half-old female cat that tested positive for FIV. This disease gradually weakens her immune system. With the slightest temperature change, Betta starts sneezing.
Since she had cat flu as a kitten, the virus can flare up at any time. Despite her being extremely affectionate towards humans, no one wishes to adopt her due to this health issue.
Already weakened, Betta is more susceptible to illnesses during the winter season. Fleece blankets would keep her comfortably warm, reducing the risk of a cat flu relapse. This way, she stands a better chance of regaining strength by the time spring arrives!
New animals have arrived, which increases the number of creatures we need to feed. The adoptions are markedly low. With cats, goats, dogs and horses, we are responsible for nearly 150 animals!
