Nobody wants poor Loulou, as he is ill and has been in an accident!

1. He has mobility issues...

Loulou is a five-year-old cat that we found to be troubled. In the past, his hip had fractured due to an accident and ended up healing poorly. Thus, poor Loulou continues to struggle with moving around.

2. He suffers from a severe illness!

Loulou tested positive for FIV. This disease will gradually destroy his immune system, making him increasingly vulnerable. Even though he's lovely around humans, no one wants to adopt him because of this health issue...

3. Blankets would keep him warm

Already weakened, Loulou is particularly vulnerable to illness in the colder months. Polar fleece blankets could keep him warm and stop him from becoming even weaker. This would increase his chances of regaining his strength when the warmer weather returns!

4. We had to weather a typhus outbreak!

New animals have arrived, increasing the number of creatures that need feeding. Indeed, there are very few adoptions. Between the cats, goats, dogs, and horses, we currently have almost 150 animals to care for!

Recently, a typhus epidemic wreaked havoc among our kittens. The veterinary costs racked up were substantial, only exacerbating our already complicated financial situation...
