Stricken with gangrene, Pep's had to be amputated
It is always a huge disappointment to see a campaign fail, it means that the concerned animals will not receive any help. Unfortunately, we can not ship incomplete campaigns.
We want to maximize the help we are all bringing to the animals in distress. Our campaign goals are calculated to balance our storage, delivery and manufacturing costs of the offered products.
Delivering failed campaigns would generate too many costs, which would eventually lead to the bankruptcy of the website and leave all the animals that we could have helped alone...
The delivery of unfinished campaigns is also physically impossible for some products (if only 50% of a kennel is financed: we can not cut it in half).
Our activity is regulated by the french tax law, it forbides us to transfer money instead of the advertised product (article L 548-1 of the Monetary and Financial Code).
For this reason, when a campaign fails, donations are immediately refunded. If they want to, donors can send this money directly to the association.
Our activity is regulated by the french tax law, it forbides us to use the money for anything else than the original use announced in the campaign (article L 548-1).
So, unfortunately, we are not allowed to transfer donations from a campaign to another.
Free clicks are saved before being reallocated to other campaigns (free clicks being immaterial, they are not submited to the same obligations than financial donations).
This campaign failed, it won't be delivered... Collected quantities have been cancelled (payments have been transfered back and free clicks have been saved in a stock).

Animal Webaction visited the site 16 January 2024 and confirms the situation described below.
"At the moment, 300 street cats depend on me for their survival. I have no more kibble to give them, after rationing them to the maximum for 2 weeks. The rapid increase in the number of stray cats has drained our reserves much faster than expected...
Unfortunately, the debts are piling up and preventing me from buying any more kibble. Seeing the cats wither and fall ill for lack of food is a reality I have to face every day. Their immune systems are weakening, and they are increasingly vulnerable to disease and the dangers of the street...
Without a fresh supply of kibble, I'm afraid I'm going to lose these cats. Their dependence on my help to survive is a daily reality, and right now my ability to support them is severely limited...This kibble campaign is their last chance!"
"The health of street cats, which is already very precarious, is under increasing threat in the absence of kibble. Without this vital resource, the risks of spreading disease and infection among the stray population are multiplied tenfold!
The growing pressure to survive could also lead to more frequent and violent fights between them, which could result in serious injuries. The most fragile cats will be the first to suffer in this situation. Too vulnerable, they won't be able to find food on their own, or defend themselves against the most dominant cats... As for the others, they could scatter, desperately looking for something to eat, which would expose them to increased risks of accidents!
This kibble delivery is a matter of survival for the street cats under my protection. My concern is growing as the options for saving them dwindle, leaving them in a situation that is only getting worse... "
"I have launched several initiatives to feed the 300 street cats who rely on me. But despite my efforts, the response has been limited... Appeals for donations and SOS messages posted on social media have not generated the expected support, and charity sales have brought in far less than is needed to cover the kibble requirements.
I also tried to obtain local grants and even applied for emergency aid from dedicated organisations. But each attempt ended in failure. Even the local authorities, asked to help, were unable to provide the necessary assistance!
Faced with this situation, my concern is growing. Every day that goes by without kibble puts the cats' survival at risk!"
“Due to the lack of kibble, our rescue and treatment mission is seriously hampered. Our ability to monitor sick cats is diminishing, making the veterinary care we provide less effective.
The lack of kibble also means that we can no longer accommodate new cats requiring our help. This food shortage not only forces our current pets to fight for their survival, but it also prevents us from properly caring for injured or emergency cats... Without help, we may not be able to continue our actions, yet vital for all these cats..."
"In my role as head of the association, I feel responsible for the survival of all these street cats. Every cat we lose makes me feel even more powerless in the face of society's indifference towards these vulnerable creatures.
The decisions I have to make every day have far-reaching consequences. My commitment to these animals has also meant sacrifices in my personal life. I often feel overwhelmed by the scale of the task, aware that the cats' needs far exceed our current capabilities... But I can't abandon them!"
Animal Webaction has a logistics centre in Morocco, which allows us to intervene quickly and deliver the kibble.
