In a poor state, hoof pain, fatigue: Blondie is suffering from advanced stage laminitis!

1. Abandoned and forgotten...

Blondie is a mare in her twenties that was abandoned and left neglected. Due to inappropriate feeding, she ended up overweight, leading to a significant deterioration in her condition. In absence of care, her hooves had grown out excessively by the time she was found.

2. She's suffering from laminitis!

Between the lack of proper upkeep and her past obesity, poor Blondie ended up developing an advanced case of laminitis. She is often lying down, leading her to be weakened and losing her strength. We administer pain relief in hopes of making her as comfortable as possible.

3. Some pellets would help her regain some strength

To improve her condition and help her regain her strength, Blondie would benefit from some supplementary feeding. Offering her some pellets would be an excellent way to let her replenish her energy healthily. This would help her go through the winter more comfortably.

4. The association can no longer cope!

We've taken in several new cases, resulting in an overwhelming number of animals to look after. They all have significant dietary needs, but I'm under such financial strain that I can't juggle it all by myself...
