Damaged eye, fever, sneezing: Hugo has a severe case of cat flu!

1. He is very ill...

Hugo is a two-month-old kitten, severely affected by a strong bout of cat flu. Poor Hugo has a fever and sneezes a lot. One of his eyes is also beginning to be damaged by the virus. All of this greatly exhausts his body and hinders his growth! Hence, we are going to do our utmost to nurse him back to health.

2. In order to recover, he will need canned food

A wet diet would enable Hugo to take a treatment that would increase his chances of recovery. Tablets hidden in appetizing food would be much easier for him to swallow!

This would also enable him to replenish his energy, and to provide his body with essential nutrients for healthy growth. In this fortified state, he would gradually start improving.

3. Epidemics keep breaking out!

Out of the 40 cats I care for, many are ill. About ten kittens are currently in quarantine due to cat flu. There has also been an outbreak of feline distemper and cases of feline giardiasis. Managing all of this is not only challenging but also incurs significant veterinary expenses!
