Jack is a five-month-old kitten who is currently under foster care. Following his neutering, he unfortunately suffered a minor stroke. After the incident, he struggled to maintain his balance and lost his ability to feed himself. Thankfully, he has since resumed eating, but his balance issues persist.
A wet diet would keep Jack well-hydrated, while also replenishing his energy supplies on a daily basis. This would help him recover effectively and provide his body with vital nutrients to aid his growth. Our hope is that, in the meantime, he will have fully recovered from his stroke!
Of the 40 cats in my care, many are unwell. Currently, around ten kittens are in quarantine due to cat flu. We also recently faced an epidemic of feline parvovirus and some cases of giardiasis. These health challenges are not only difficult to manage, they also amount to significant veterinary costs!
