Due to lack of care, Rosalie ended up with hooves like slippers!

1. She had an absence of care…

Rosalie is a mare in her twenties, who hasn’t received all the necessary care she needs. When she came into our care, her hooves were exceptionally long and had taken the shape of slippers (fortunately, a farrier has been able to tend to her since). She must also have suffered from a lack of nourishment as she looks noticeably weakened.

2. Pellets would facilitate her weight gain

Rosalie needs extra supplementation to regain her vitality and health. Pellets, a perfect source of nutrition, would replenish her energy levels safely. This would enable her to have a more comforting winter.

3. The association no longer has the resources to keep up!

We have recently had many new additions and hence have a large number of animals under our care. They all have substantial dietary requirements, and I find myself in great financial strife. Regrettably, I am unable to manage the situation single-handedly…
