Urifano has severed a tendon in an accident!

1. He has suffered severe tendon injury…

Urifano is a 14-year-old horse, who was on the verge of being euthanised. Poor Urifano had severed a tendon in an accident. We took it upon ourselves to look after him, to prevent him from being put down.

Today, his tendon is healed. He needs to exercise to soften the affected area, as he still has a swollen hock.

2. Pellets would assist in his recovery

With a comprehensive diet such as pellets, Urifano would have more than enough to replenish his energy reserves. Such a balanced diet would support him during the end of his convalescence, providing all the vital minerals and vitamins he needs.

3. The current weather conditions complicate everything!

Given the current weather, the pastures are muddy and lack grass for the horses. The animals are cold and exhausted due to the rain and wind. They need supplemental feed more than ever, but our resources are sadly insufficient!
