Damaged teeth, lameness, after-effects of an old injury: Pepsi requires pellets!

1. She bears the aftermath of a tendon injury...

Pepsi is a mare aged 28, who suffered from an accident when she was young. Her tendon was severed and has never healed since.

Despite having an osteopathy session with every change in season, she limps. We're unsure if it's due to her difficulties in mobility, but she is often isolated from the rest of the herd.

2. Her teeth no longer allow her to chew!

With age, Pepsi's teeth have become increasingly smooth. Today, they are so damaged that they no longer enable her to chew her food properly.

3. With soaked pellets, she could continue to build up strength

To feed without difficulties and without risk of causing obstructions, Pepsi would require pellets. Once moistened, she would have no difficulty ingesting them. It would be an excellent source of vitamins and minerals, allowing her to maintain her condition, despite her age and frailties.

4. The current weather exacerbates everything!

With the current weather conditions, the fields are muddy and barren for the horses. The animals are cold and worn out from the rain and wind. They require nutritional supplementation now more than ever, but we lack the resources!
