Animal Webaction visited the site 02 March 2024 and confirms the situation described below.
"I'm facing a big problem: I've almost run out of kibble for the 200 street cats in my care. They're already eating only once a day, and I can see they're losing weight. Worse still, illnesses are beginning to appear, a sign of the impact this lack of food is having on their fragile health.
The fact that they're malnourished and starting to get sick scares me to no end. I'm at my wits' end, with no way of buying more kibble, and I owe money to my usual supplier. I'm launching this kibble campaign because I've run out of other options, and it's my last hope to avoid the worst!
These cats depend entirely on the help I can give them to eat and survive. Without this kibble, I fear disastrous consequences for their already precarious health. Their very survival depends on it!"
"Without kibble, street cats see their already precarious existence deteriorate even further. Hunger makes them aggressive, driving them further and further away in search of food. This situation increases the risk of road accidents and the spread of disease among a weakened population... Alas, without kibble to support their immune systems, the recovery of sick cats becomes more than uncertain!
As far as I'm concerned, without kibble, crucial priorities like sterilization take a back seat. Unneutered cats reproduce very quickly, making my ability to provide them with adequate care almost nil... Furthermore, the overpopulation of stray cats can lead to tensions with local communities, often resulting in cruel and inhumane measures to control their numbers...
The situation is serious. The cycle of malnutrition, overpopulation and disease is accelerating at an alarming rate! Faced with this situation, obtaining kibble is not only vital, it's urgent... Without this delivery, the cats risk starving to death!"
"My attempts to collect kibble have all come up against obstacles. My appeals on social networks have met with little response, and local kibble drives have met with little success. I even wrote to local and international companies asking for help, but received no response. I proposed cat toy-making workshops, thinking that this might generate interest and, by extension, donations; unfortunately, this didn't bear fruit.
Hoping to broaden my support, I sent personalized letters to several people and companies, but received no response. These successive failures have exhausted me, both physically and mentally. I often feel alone in this fight to help cats. It's hard to keep going when you can't see any improvement... The severity of this shortage cannot be underestimated, and the lack of tangible support so far only accentuates the urgency! The cats are counting on us for their survival..."
"Kibbles are fundamental to all my efforts to help stray cats. Right now, I'm facing a shortage that's endangering the survival of 200 of the cats I feed. Without kibble, it's difficult to maintain their health, which is crucial to their ability to fight off disease. In addition, this shortage compromises my responsiveness to emergencies and limits my ability to provide adequate care, which is vital to their well-being.
Long-term planning, which relies on a stable diet, becomes a major challenge without food security. This jeopardizes not only the health and safety of the cats, but also my overall mission to protect these animals. The lack of kibble threatens to wipe out the progress made in sterilizing and managing stray cat populations, making the situation even more precarious.
Faced with this crisis, the urgency is palpable. It is imperative to find sustainable solutions to ensure the supply of kibble. This will not only safeguard the lives of these cats in the short term, but also continue to work towards a future where the stray cat population can be managed ethically and sustainably. The success of our mission depends entirely on my ability to overcome this food challenge."
"My love for animals is the driving force behind everything I do. Their welfare is my top priority, and the anxiety of not doing enough for them haunts me constantly. I aspire to a world where every stray cat finds a loving home, a place where they are pampered and protected. It's this dream that keeps me going, despite the daily obstacles.
I often feel the weight of incomprehension about my commitment, and it's sometimes hard to keep my spirits up. But the love I feel for these cats, and their dependence on me, drives me on. It's what guides me through the moments of doubt and hardship, sometimes too many... I dream of continued support that would enable me to extend my help, to offer more than just meals - a chance for these cats to live a better life!"
