Tilouki is a two and a half month old kitten, who we found at a feeding site, abandoned. The poor thing was riddled with worms and had ear mites. We are now in the process of deworming him and treating him.
Like many kittens who end up on the streets, Tilouki has contracted the highly contagious cat flu virus. His eyes are a bit closed due to the continuous discharge. So we're giving him tablets, in addition to the antibiotic injection he's received.
A diet rich in nutrients, like canned food for kittens would be perfect for Tilouki. Not only would it allow him to replenish his protein and vitamin levels, but it would also be an excellent way to help him take his various medications.
Being able to benefit from such high-quality food would help to strengthen him, which would be beneficial for the continuation of his growth.
As I'm going to have knee surgery, I'll be immobilised. My health won't allow me to run our usual fundraising drives for several weeks. This will represent a significant loss for the association... We're going to need your help to feed our beloved moggies!
