Berlin is a six-month-old kitten who was abandoned in front of the shelter when he was just four weeks old. He was covered in fleas and suffering from cat flu. We dewormed and treated him as best we could.
Canned food would be ideal for Berlin as it would provide tailored nutrition to complete his growth.
Its appetising texture would encourage him to eat regularly, helping him to develop healthily. Being a lifelong carrier of the cat flu virus, he would thus have fewer chances of seeing his symptoms reappear.
Currently, we're facing very difficult conditions, as the temperatures are freezing. To meet the needs of the horses and equines braving the cold, we've had to restock our supply of granules. But our budget is too stretched to also afford to buy canned food for the cats...
