1. He was thrown out of a moving car!

Jessy is a five-year-old cat who was cruelly abandoned. People threw him out of a moving car when he was just one month old… He unfortunately fractured his pelvis during the fall!

2. He carries significant lasting effects...

Following this horrific accident, Jessy had to undergo months of physical rehabilitation. Despite this, every winter he suffers from arthritis. We therefore have to administer anti-inflammatory treatment to him.

3. Canned food would help improve his condition

Easy to eat and digest, canned food is a recommended nutritious option for cats suffering from arthritis as it helps alleviate joint pain.

Its protein content would promote the preservation of Jessy's muscle mass, and its moisture would help to keep him hydrated, enabling him to stay healthy despite his condition. It would also be a helpful way to administer his medication.

4. The food is too expensive for us to buy enough...

Currently, we are facing very challenging conditions, with icy cold temperatures. In order to meet the needs of the horses and equines facing the cold, we had to restock our pellet supplies. However, our stretched budget doesn’t allow us to also purchase enough canned food for the cats…
